Booking and Cancellation Terms and Conditions

• All prices include breakfast (B&B only), cleaning, VAT and visitor’s tax.
• Prices may vary depending on the dates booked:
  • Early season: March and November.
  • Low season: April to June, September and October.
  • High season: July and August.

• Due to the size of our business, we are significantly affected by cancellations. We therefore adhere to a strict cancellation policy:
  • Bed and Breakfast (B&B):
    • Payment for rooms must be made on the day of booking.
    • Cancellation up to 31 days before arrival: 50% refund
    • Cancellation from 30 days before arrival: no refund
    • Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card you provided.
    • Cancellations must be made by email, stating your name and the booked period.
  • Villa/Holiday Home Rentals:
    • Bookings are considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total rental cost. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the arrival date. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full amount is payable immediately. In the event of cancellation more than 6 weeks before arrival, 50% of the deposit received will be refunded. No refund will be given for cancellations made within 6 weeks of arrival. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance.
    • If you are renting the whole house, we require a deposit of €500, which must be paid together with the rent. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your departure.
• Check-in is available on the day of arrival from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm, and check-out is by 11.00 am on the day of departure.
• Please let us know your arrival time 48 hours in advance so that we can prepare for your visit.
• Breakfast for B&B guests is served from 08:30 to 10:30. Breakfast is not included when booking the villa.
• If you have not vacated your room by 11.00, we will charge you for an additional night’s stay.
• B&B: Minimum stay of three nights.
• Villa hire: Minimum stay of one week.
• When you book your stay, we will ask you for your credit card details. We reserve the right to pre-authorise the credit card details you provide. Your credit card must be valid for the dates of your stay.
• We accept the following payment methods: Mastercard | Visa | Bank transfer | Cash
• We offer an ‘honesty bar’ with drinks and snacks. Drinks and snacks taken from the ‘honesty bar’ must be paid for in cash in euros.
• We’d be delighted if you bought food and drink during your stay to bring back to CASA KALU, and we’ll provide you with a private space in a fridge, but we ask that you consume any food and drink brought in from outside in the designated areas in the garden and on the terraces.
• We are happy to change the towels on request. Please contact us if required.
• Rooms are cleaned on request. Please contact us.
• Villa rental: The house is cleaned and towels are changed once a week. Sufficient towels will be provided for the duration of your stay. We charge €20 for an additional change. A washing machine is available.
• Casa Kalu is a non-smoking B&B. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas. Please respect the surroundings and take care to do so.
• Use of the Casa Kalu property is limited to the number of guests specified in the booking terms and conditions.
• No other visitors from outside are permitted on the premises.

• Photo shoots and media-related matters should be discussed before booking.
• Pets are allowed if the villa is hired on an exclusive basis. Pets are not permitted when booking a B&B room.
• Due to our remote location, you may experience temporary difficulties accessing Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
• Casa Kalu’s swimming pool is not supervised. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety.
• On request, the following additional services can be arranged for you:
  • Taxi and airport transfer service
  • Laundry service for B&B: €10 per wash. If you are renting the house, only the washing machine can be used free of charge.
